Yin & Restorative Yoga

Sometimes the body asks us to slow down long before we are ready to listen.

Yin & Restorative Yoga offers a gentle invitation to pause — to soften, breathe, and reconnect with yourself beneath the constant noise of everyday life.

This nourishing combination of Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga is a passive, meditative, and deeply reflective practice inspired by classical Hatha Yoga, Chinese Taoist philosophy, modern fascia research, and the therapeutic principles of Restorative Yoga.

Yin Yoga can feel like acupuncture without needles. Through long-held postures and mindful stillness, the practice invites you to sense your body from within — to observe sensations, emotions, resistance, and boundaries with curiosity instead of judgment.

Over time, this creates a deeper awareness of the body and its signals, helping you recognize stress, tension, or overload before they become overwhelming.

At its core, Yin Yoga supports balance, vitality, and inner quiet. But perhaps even more importantly, it teaches us to soften the constant urge to fix, control, or change everything.

To simply allow things to be as they are.

Restorative Yoga complements this practice by creating a quiet refuge from the demands of everyday life.

A space where nothing is expected from you.
Where the nervous system can finally exhale.

Supported by blankets, bolsters, and blocks, the body is invited into complete comfort and ease. The external stimulation becomes minimal, allowing the mind to gradually settle and the body to shift into deep rest and recovery.

There is no pressure to stretch deeper, perform, or achieve the “perfect” posture.

This practice invites you to soften instead of pushing further.

How much support the body needs is deeply individual and may change from day to day. Every body responds differently depending on stress, emotions, energy levels, or life circumstances.

In my classes, I carefully support each person in finding the variation that truly feels nourishing and sustainable for them.

This is not about physical performance.
It is about observing the body from within, softening control, and resting in the present moment.

A space where you are allowed to be exactly as you are.
